The gosadi web platform and mobile companion app are for anyone designing & publishing knitting, crochet, and Tunisian crochet patterns for sale. gosadi helps its users work smarter so they can focus on their designs.

The gosadi platform enables designers to centrally manage pattern listings across multiple selling platforms through API integration and reach a bigger audience by streamlining the pattern listing and e-commerce process. We’re here to put that time back where they want it: generating creative ideas crafters will love. We’re looking for someone creative to join our team.

Logistics Summary:

Position:  Social Media Coordinator

Type: full-time with flexible hours (up to 40 hours per week)

Location: Remote, with possible travel 3 times per year for events or special meetings

Compensation: $50k - $58k, DOE + full health coverage, generous PTO

YOU:

The ideal candidate has a bias toward action and execution, with a strong passion for product launch, storytelling, and creativity and is able to work as part of a collaborative team.

Additional Skills you will need to succeed and thrive at gosadi:

  • Highly proficient with marketing & asset management tools i.e. Trello, Asana, Slack, Canva, GSuite, Google Docs, Sheets, Word, Excel and others. 

  • Multi-task & prioritize time and resource management with ease.

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and ability to work as a part of a team.

  • Strong Copywriting skills and the ability to adapt to brand voice.

  • Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling proprietary information. 

  • A natural relationship builder, with the ability to work well with the internal gosadi team and our larger network of community members.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs in a startup environment.

  • Proactive approach - the ability to anticipate future actions that may be required of a task while clearly communicating your steps and process to the rest of the team.

  • Must have a strong understanding of META platforms and social scheduling processes. 

** Bonus if you knit or crochet or have such craft knowledge

Role Outline:

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for seamless execution of marketing plans and programs developed by the Marketing Department, with the goal of bringing more product visibility and community building. 

Objectives of this role:

  • Increase engagement for existing audiences with high-quality social initiatives.

  • Build community by acquiring new followers. 

  • Filling gaps in our marketing content output.

  • Align our brand with new and emerging trends in the space.

  • Improve ROI through more consistently on-target messaging and brand growth.

  • Identify new channels to embed our brand that align our marketing direction.

  • Track metrics and insights from social data using monitoring tools.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Create brand driven content for social networks and blog.

  • Create and manage brand assets.

  • Monitoring social media accounts, creating content and responding to messages (multiple social media accounts).

  • Contributing ideas to marketing campaigns.

  • Helping to organize market research / gathering market research.

  • Compiling and distributing research & content information.

  • Assist with securing vendors (photographers, travel, promotional materials).

  • Support founder creating content & presentations / pitch decks. 

  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.

  • Assist in management of activations.

  • Assist in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns as well as attend them to facilitate their success.

  • Collaborating with users, stakeholders, partners and internal teams.

  • Support website content management.

  • Become a product expert and be enthusiastic about the platform we’re building.

  • Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings, etc.).

  • Update spreadsheets, databases and docs with statistical user information.

  • Monthly reporting of engagement metrics.
